DuraGrip Slip-Resistant TPO
Triton manufactures stronger, safer roof systems for industrial and institutional facilities around the globe. DuraGrip is the world’s first and only textured TPO.
New research from Iowa State University recommends textured thermoplastics as the minimum for human safety on commercial and industrial flat roofs. Coupled with a next-generation TPO formulation which increases longevity and performance over commodity TPO formulations, DuraGrip is truly safer and stronger.

Slip-Resistant
SLIP-RESISTANCE
Roof-top slip-resistance has often been overlooked in our industry, leading to an increase in occupational injuries from slips and falls when the roof is wet from dew, frost, snow, or rain. Triton is committed to safety and is proud to offer stronger, safer products, including our DuraGrip TPO slip-resistant, single-ply membrane with advanced formulation for premium quality and longevity.
SAFETY-MINDED CLIENTS
DuraGrip, the world’s first and only textured TPO roof membrane, is a superior option for safety-minded clients who want an industrial-grade, textured thermoplastic single-ply roof membrane for roof replacements, overlays, additions, or new construction. Commodity TPO membranes are extremely slippery and dangerous when wet from dew, rain, frost, snow, ice, or leaking coolant. Everyone deserves to go home safe.

University Study
In a 2024 Iowa State University (ISU) study, researchers found that material type had a more substantial effect on participant performance than the type of shoe the participant wore. Notably, textured thermoplastics significantly outperformed smooth thermoplastics by significant margins.
The survey concludes that “higher friction, as provided by textured thermoplastics, leads to lower slip-and-fall events and increases participant trust in the surfaces, potentially decreasing workers’ compensation claims from walking on commercial and industrial rooftops.”
